Moment of Zen — Terms of Service

Last updated: September 29, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Moment of Zen, a digital service provided by 3LOGIC LLC ("3LOGIC," "we," "us," or "our").

Welcome, and thank you for joining us. Moment of Zen shares moments of Buddhist-inspired wisdom for everyone, whatever your background or beliefs. We have tried to write these Terms as clearly as we can: they explain what you can expect from us, what we ask of you, and what happens in the rare cases when something goes wrong.

Please read these Terms carefully. By affirmatively accepting these Terms through the Service, you agree to be bound by them.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, retain, and protect information in connection with the Service.

Key points

This summary is provided for convenience. The full Terms below govern your use of the Service.

1. Who we are and what these Terms cover

1.1 3LOGIC

The Service is provided by 3LOGIC LLC, a Washington limited liability company.

Moment of Zen is a digital service provided by 3LOGIC.

3MAGIC™ is a 3LOGIC brand used for certain physical products that may provide access to the Service.

1.2 The Service

"Service" means the Moment of Zen digital experience available through momentofzen.art and related interfaces, including through NFC tags, QR codes, wallet passes, and other access methods associated with 3MAGIC products and other supported products.

The Service may include:

Features may differ by product, device, operating system, location, account status, or other eligibility requirements.

1.3 Agreement to these Terms

You agree to these Terms when you affirmatively accept them through the Service, including during activation, account creation, purchase, or another flow where we present these Terms for acceptance.

We may record the version of the Terms you accepted and information reasonably necessary to document that acceptance.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

Our Privacy Policy is a separate document and explains how we handle personal information.

1.4 The physical product is separate

These Terms govern the digital Service, not the physical figurine or other physical product itself.

Physical products may be sold by 3LOGIC or by a retailer or other seller. Warranty, return, replacement, and other rights relating to a physical product are governed by the terms applicable to that sale and by applicable consumer law.

If the Service or a digital feature ends, ownership of your physical product is not affected.

1.5 Third-party services

The Service may rely on or interact with services provided by third parties, including digital wallet providers, identity providers, payment processors, hosting providers, operating-system providers, and communications services.

Your use of those third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their independent acts or omissions, subject to applicable law.

2. Eligibility

2.1 Minimum age

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into these Terms to use the Service.

The Service is not intended for or directed to anyone under 18.

2.2 Accurate information

When the Service asks you to provide information relating to eligibility, account creation, billing, or another material feature, you agree to provide information that is accurate and not misleading.

2.3 Restricted use

You may not use paid features where doing so would violate applicable sanctions, export-control laws, or other laws that prohibit us from providing the applicable service to you.

3. Product activation and access credentials

3.1 Supported products

Certain physical products may contain or be associated with an NFC tag, QR code, serial number, activation link, or other identifier that allows the Service to recognize the product.

We refer to these access mechanisms collectively as a Tag where appropriate.

3.2 Activation

Activation may associate a supported product with a browser, device, account, wallet pass, or other Service record.

Some products or benefits may be activated only once unless we allow a reset, transfer, replacement, or reactivation.

3.3 Device limits

We may limit the number of devices, browsers, accounts, or wallet passes associated with a product or benefit.

Applicable limits and procedures may be shown in the Service.

We may change those limits or procedures from time to time. Where a change materially reduces a paid benefit you have already purchased, we will provide any notice or remedy required by applicable law or expressly promised at purchase.

3.4 Treat your Tag like a key

Anyone who has access to your physical product, Tag, activation link, or certain related credentials may be able to access associated Service features.

You should therefore:

3.5 Lost, stolen, transferred, or resold products

If a supported physical product is lost, stolen, sold, given away, or transferred, contact us if you need help with the associated digital access.

After reasonable verification, we may take steps such as:

Subscriptions, purchased download and share credits, account balances, and other account-level purchases generally remain with the account that obtained them unless we expressly say otherwise.

3.6 Counterfeit, cloned, or compromised access

We may refuse, suspend, reset, or disable a Tag, wallet pass, activation credential, or related access mechanism that we reasonably believe is:

4. Wallet passes and Wisdom Cards

4.1 Wallet passes

The Service may issue digital wallet passes containing Dharma Wisdom Cards or related content.

A Moment of Zen wallet pass is not a payment card, stored-value card, gift card, security, or financial instrument and has no cash value unless we expressly state otherwise.

4.2 Updating and non-updating passes

Some wallet passes may receive updated content after they are issued.

Other passes may remain unchanged after issuance.

The Service may identify the applicable type or functionality when a pass is issued.

4.3 Free and paid features

Certain features may be available without payment, while others may require:

The applicable terms will be shown before you purchase or claim a paid or promotional benefit.

4.4 Automatic updates

Where available, an updating wallet pass may receive new content automatically while you have the required entitlement and have enabled the necessary wallet or device settings.

When that entitlement ends, the pass may remain in your wallet while automatic updates stop.

4.5 Wallet controls

Your wallet application and operating system control certain functions, including notifications, pass storage, and automatic updates.

Removing a wallet pass, disabling notifications, clearing browser data, or deleting another local item does not automatically cancel a paid subscription.

To stop recurring charges, you must cancel the subscription through the cancellation method provided by the Service.

4.6 Service notices

Where permitted by applicable law and platform rules, we may use the Service, wallet passes, email, or other available channels to provide operational, security, account, subscription, legal, or Service-related notices.

Marketing or promotional communications will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the choices we make available to you.

4.7 Content and design changes

We may update the artwork, wording, organization, layout, fields, formatting, language, and other presentation of wallet passes and related digital content.

5. About the content

5.1 For reflection, not advice

Dharma Wisdom Cards and related content may draw inspiration from Buddhist teachings, traditions, concepts, texts, and practices. They are offered to share Buddhist-inspired wisdom and perspectives for personal reflection, contemplation, education, and enjoyment.

The content is not advice. It is not intended to tell you what you should do, make decisions for you, or be relied upon as a basis for personal, religious, medical, psychological, legal, financial, or other important decisions.

In particular, the content is not intended to be:

You are responsible for your own decisions and actions. Where appropriate, seek guidance from a qualified professional, religious teacher, or other suitable adviser rather than relying on content provided through the Service.

5.2 Quotations, translations, and paraphrases

Dharma Wisdom Cards and related content may include quotations from, translations of, or references to Buddhist texts, teachers, and traditions, as well as adaptations, summaries, paraphrases, modern interpretations, and original writing inspired by them. A card may present a modern interpretation or paraphrase rather than a literal translation, and may not always say so.

We make reasonable efforts to verify quotations, translations, and attributions against sources we consider reliable. However, many teachings have come down through multiple languages, translations, oral traditions, and editions, and scholars and traditions sometimes differ on wording, meaning, and attribution. We therefore cannot guarantee that any quotation, translation, attribution, citation, or interpretation is complete, accurate, or faithful to the original text or its intended meaning.

Where we identify a source, the identification is provided for reference and further study. It does not mean that the source, its author, or any tradition has reviewed, approved, or endorsed our content.

Nothing in these Terms gives 3LOGIC ownership over public-domain materials, traditional teachings, traditional terminology, or other material that is not owned by 3LOGIC.

5.3 Accuracy and variation

We aim to provide useful and thoughtfully prepared content, but we do not guarantee that:

Dates for religious or cultural observances may vary based on calendar system, location, and tradition.

5.4 Helping us improve: corrections

If you believe a quotation, translation, attribution, source, or date is inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading, we welcome your help. Please tell us using the feedback link on the card, or email support@3logic.io, and include the card, the concern, and any source that supports a correction.

We review correction requests in good faith, and may correct, clarify, replace, or remove content at our discretion. We may not be able to respond to every request individually. Cards you already have may continue to show the earlier wording: a correction applies to content issued after it is made, unless we choose to update existing cards.

Submitting a correction is feedback under Section 11, including the licence it describes. Your suggested corrections may be incorporated without credit or payment, and we will not attribute them to you publicly without your permission.

5.5 Cultural and religious respect

The content is offered with respect for the Buddhist traditions it draws on. It is not intended to represent any tradition's official position, to rank or compare traditions, or to disparage any belief or practice. If you find content that you believe is disrespectful or misrepresents a tradition, please let us know as described in Section 5.4.

6. Browser recognition, collections, downloads, and sharing

6.1 Browser and device recognition

Some Service features may recognize your browser or device before you create an account.

For example, the Service may use cookies or similar technologies to maintain access to cards, collections, activation state, device limits, or similar functionality.

Clearing browser data, changing devices, using a different browser, or disabling required browser functionality may cause locally associated features to become unavailable.

Our Privacy Policy explains the information used for these purposes.

6.2 Accounts and continuity

Signing in may allow certain information, entitlements, or features to remain available across supported devices or browsers.

Not every locally stored or device-specific feature can necessarily be restored after browser data, passes, or device information are deleted.

6.3 Sharing

The Service may allow you to share eligible cards or collections with other people.

A shared item may:

The applicable behavior may be shown in the Service.

Recipients may be required to complete the applicable Terms acceptance flow before using certain shared features.

6.4 Pass files

Do not copy, publish, sell, distribute, or forward wallet pass files outside sharing methods we provide where doing so exposes authentication credentials or bypasses Service controls.

Unauthorized copying or forwarding may compromise a pass or cause us to void, disable, or stop updating it.

7. Accounts

7.1 Account creation

Certain features, including purchases, may require an account.

We may allow account creation using supported identity providers such as Sign in with Apple, Sign in with Google, or other methods.

7.2 Account security

You are responsible for maintaining reasonable security over your account and sign-in credentials.

You are responsible for activity conducted through your account except to the extent that activity results from our failure to use reasonable security or is otherwise allocated differently under applicable law.

7.3 Multiple identity providers

Different identity providers may create separate accounts even where they relate to the same underlying person or email address.

Where available, account linking or recovery mechanisms will be described in the Service.

8. Subscriptions and paid features

8.1 Subscription benefits

We may offer subscriptions that provide automatic content updates, expanded access, additional sharing or download capability, or other benefits.

The exact benefits, price, billing period, currency, and eligibility conditions will be shown before purchase.

8.2 Automatic renewal

If a subscription renews automatically, we will disclose that fact before you purchase.

Unless cancelled, an automatically renewing subscription will renew at the end of each billing period and the applicable payment method will be charged the then-applicable subscription price, subject to applicable law.

8.3 Taxes

Taxes may be added where required.

Applicable taxes may be calculated using billing information or other information provided to or processed by our payment processor.

8.4 Trials and promotional periods

Where we offer a free trial or promotional subscription period, we will show the applicable duration and material conditions before you begin.

If a trial converts automatically to a paid subscription, that fact and the applicable price will be disclosed before you start the trial.

8.5 Cancellation

You may cancel an automatically renewing subscription using the online cancellation method provided through the Service or another method we make available.

Unless otherwise required by law or stated at purchase:

Removing a wallet pass does not cancel your subscription.

8.6 Payment failures

If a payment fails, we or our payment processor may retry the payment where permitted.

We may suspend or end paid benefits when payment remains unsuccessful.

8.7 Price changes

We may change subscription prices.

Where required by law or expressly promised as part of the subscription, we will provide notice before a changed price applies to an existing subscription.

You may cancel before the changed price takes effect if you do not wish to continue at that price.

8.8 Refunds

Except where required by applicable law or expressly stated at purchase, payments are non-refundable and we do not provide credits for partially used billing periods.

We may voluntarily issue a refund or credit in a particular case. Doing so does not require us to provide the same treatment in other cases.

If we discontinue a prepaid paid feature before the end of the period you purchased, we will provide any refund or remedy required by applicable law and any additional remedy we expressly promised at purchase.

8.9 Payment processors

Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers.

We may receive transaction information but do not necessarily receive or store your full payment-card number.

9. Usage limits, and download and share credits

Certain downloads, sharing features, collections, or other Service functions may be subject to usage limits or may use download and share credits ("Credits").

The Service may offer:

Applicable limits, prices, reset periods, expiration rules, and other material terms will be shown before purchase or use.

Purchased Credits or similar usage rights:

A feature described as unlimited means unlimited eligible personal use subject to reasonable technical, security, fraud-prevention, and anti-abuse limits. It does not permit automated extraction, commercial redistribution, resale, scraping, or conduct prohibited by Section 12.

10. Promotions and complimentary benefits

We may offer promotions, bonuses, introductory offers, complimentary benefits, promotional codes, or similar programs.

Promotions may have separate eligibility requirements, deadlines, usage limits, or other conditions presented with the promotion.

Unless we expressly state otherwise:

We may cancel or reverse promotional benefits obtained through fraud, abuse, mistake, or violation of these Terms.

A promotional benefit will not convert into a paid subscription unless the applicable offer clearly says so and you have agreed to the applicable billing terms.

11. Feedback and support

11.1 Feedback

You may send us suggestions, ratings, comments, screenshots, documents, or other feedback.

Please avoid sending sensitive information or another person's personal information unless it is reasonably necessary to address your issue.

11.2 Ownership and licence

You retain ownership of material you submit to us.

If you provide suggestions, ideas, feature requests, or other product feedback, you grant 3LOGIC a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free licence to use, modify, reproduce, and incorporate those ideas into our products and services without an obligation to compensate or credit you.

We will handle screenshots, documents, personal information, and other submitted information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We will not publicly attribute feedback to you without permission unless permitted or required by law.

12. Acceptable use

You may not:

We may use reasonable technical measures to prevent or limit prohibited activity.

13. Intellectual property

13.1 3LOGIC content

Except for public-domain, third-party, open-source, or otherwise separately licensed material, the Service and its original content are owned by 3LOGIC or our licensors.

This may include:

Nothing in these Terms claims ownership of traditional Buddhist teachings, terminology, concepts, public-domain works, or other material that is not legally owned by us.

13.2 Your licence to use the Service

While you comply with these Terms, we give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable licence to access and use the Service and content made available to you for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may share content through sharing functions we provide where those functions permit it.

Unless we give you permission, you may not use our proprietary content for:

13.3 Open-source and third-party materials

Some software, fonts, texts, translations, images, or other materials may be subject to open-source, Creative Commons, public-domain, or third-party licence terms.

Those applicable licence terms continue to govern that material.

13.4 Copyright concerns

If you believe content available through the Service infringes your copyright or other intellectual-property rights, contact us at:

legal@3logic.io

and provide sufficient information for us to identify and evaluate the issue.

14. Suspension and termination

14.1 By you

You may stop using the Service at any time.

If you have an automatically renewing subscription, stopping use of the Service does not itself cancel future billing. You must cancel the subscription using the applicable cancellation method.

You may also request account closure or exercise applicable privacy rights as described in our Privacy Policy.

14.2 By us

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to some or all of the Service where we reasonably believe:

Where reasonably practicable and appropriate, we may provide notice or an opportunity to address the issue.

We may act without advance notice where advance notice could create a security risk, facilitate abuse, violate law, compromise an investigation, or cause material harm.

14.3 Paid features

If we terminate a paid feature without breach by you, we will provide any refund or other remedy required by applicable law and any additional remedy expressly promised at purchase.

14.4 Effect of termination

Provisions that by their nature should continue after termination will remain in effect, including provisions relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, disputes, and accrued payment obligations.

15. Changes to the Service

15.1 Staged and unreleased features

We may release features gradually, test features with limited groups, or make features available only on certain devices, platforms, locations, or products.

A feature described as planned, preview, beta, coming soon, or similar language is not a guarantee that the feature will be released or remain available.

Do not purchase a product or paid feature solely in reliance on functionality that has not yet been released unless we expressly guarantee that functionality as part of the purchase.

15.2 Changes

We may add, modify, replace, or discontinue features.

Where a change materially reduces a paid benefit you have already purchased, we will provide any notice, refund, cancellation right, or other remedy required by applicable law or expressly promised at purchase.

15.3 Discontinuation

We may discontinue part or all of the Service.

Where reasonably practicable, we will provide advance notice of a significant discontinuation.

If we discontinue a prepaid paid feature, we will provide any refund or remedy required under applicable law or expressly promised at purchase.

Wallet passes already stored on your device may remain visible after discontinuation but may stop updating or functioning.

16. Third-party dependencies

The Service depends in part on third-party platforms and infrastructure that we do not control, including:

Changes, outages, policy changes, technical failures, or restrictions affecting those services may interfere with Moment of Zen.

We will use reasonable efforts to operate the Service, but we do not guarantee the uninterrupted availability of systems outside our control.

17. Disclaimers

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE."

WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES THAT MAY OTHERWISE BE IMPLIED BY LAW, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE EXTENT THOSE WARRANTIES MAY LAWFULLY BE DISCLAIMED.

WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT:

NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES OR LIMITS ANY WARRANTY, GUARANTEE, OR CONSUMER RIGHT THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE EXCLUDED.

Content you may not agree with. The teachings our cards draw on come from a religious tradition and were first recorded about 2,500 years ago. Some passages express the tradition's core beliefs, for example about rebirth, karma, or devotion. Others reflect social assumptions of their time, for example about gender, social rank, or servitude, that many people today do not share. You may not agree with every message you receive. Passages of these kinds are not included by default; where the Service offers a setting to include them, you may choose to receive them. Including a passage is not an endorsement of every view it expresses, and although we review passages carefully, our review may not catch every one.

18. Limitation of liability

18.1 Excluded damages

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, 3LOGIC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS.

18.2 Liability cap

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, 3LOGIC'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF:

18.3 Rights that cannot be limited

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability to the extent such liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

This includes any liability that applicable law does not permit us to disclaim or limit.

19. Your responsibility for misuse

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you are responsible for reasonable losses, costs, and claims incurred by 3LOGIC resulting directly from:

This section does not apply where applicable consumer law does not permit such liability.

20. Governing law and courts

20.1 Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

20.2 Courts

Except where applicable law gives you a non-waivable right to bring a claim elsewhere, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington, and you and 3LOGIC consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

20.3 Mandatory consumer rights

If you are a consumer residing in a jurisdiction whose mandatory laws give you rights that cannot be waived by these Terms, you retain those rights.

Nothing in this section prevents you from bringing a claim in another court where applicable law gives you a non-waivable right to do so.

21. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

If a change is material, we may provide notice through one or more of the following:

Where applicable law requires affirmative agreement to an updated version, we will ask you to accept the updated Terms.

For other updates, continued use of the Service after the effective date may constitute acceptance where permitted by applicable law.

Changes will not retroactively alter the legal treatment of a dispute that arose before the applicable change.

If you do not agree to revised Terms, you should stop using the Service and cancel any automatically renewing paid feature before its next billing date.

22. General

Entire agreement

These Terms, together with any terms expressly presented as part of a specific purchase, subscription, promotion, or feature, constitute the agreement between you and 3LOGIC concerning the Service.

Severability

If a provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.

No waiver

If we do not enforce a provision of these Terms, that does not waive our right to enforce it later.

Assignment

You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our consent.

We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, corporate reorganization, financing, transfer to an affiliate, or sale of some or all of the relevant business or assets, subject to applicable law.

Events beyond reasonable control

We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, subject to rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

Language

We may provide translations of these Terms.

Unless applicable law requires otherwise, the English version controls if there is a conflict between the English version and a translation.

Notices

We may provide notices through the Service, email, account interfaces, wallet passes, wallet notifications, or another reasonable method.
